New for Janauary 2015, we are please to announce an additional flight to our programme of holidays for the coming winter from Exeter airport, serving South West England. Northern Lights Holidays operate a number of exclusive charter flights during the winter months to Kiruna (Sweden). The flight provisionally departs from EXT at around 10:00 in the morning and arrives back into the UK during the evening. The baggage allowance is 18kg of checked luggage in addition to 5kg of hand luggage; there is a buy-on-board catering service during the flight.
This Northern Lights holiday is the perfect introduction to the Arctic Circle. Spending four nights in remote Lapland on the official Northern Lights Route – far from any city or commercialised resorts – will give you the best chances of seeing the fabled Aurora Borealis.
Departing from Exeter in January (the height of winter is a prime time to see the Aurora since the nights are long), this holiday gives you the chance to mush your own team of eager huskies across the Arctic tundra and drive a snowmobile down a frozen river.
